IN CONTROL

You can control this presentation (or any other) by using the RealAudio (TM) player which is always located in the bottom frame.

Let's review the controls: This controller display above is very similar to an audio cassette machine.

The first rectangular control is the play/pause button.

  1. You can pause a talk by clicking with your mouse on (II), and then continue by clicking play (>).
  2. The audio playback controls the display of the accompanying presentation graphics and slides. When the program calls for the next graphic the new graphic replaces the old one. By clicking on pause (ll) all actions cease and can be resumed from the stopping point by clicking on play (>).
  3. Don't want to start from the beginning? No problem, since the next control to the right let's you move to any point in the presentation. Simply click and drag on the little handle.
  4. This is a good time to point out that those numbers displayed on the extreme right of the player tell you how far you are into the presentation (hours:minutes:seconds.tenths) and the total length of the talk.
  5. The next control to the right of the play/pause is the stop. When you hit this button the entire presentation will stop. You can than either go to the MAIN MENU or restart the presentation from the beginning.
  6. If you need to change the volume, just grab that handy little slide on the right side of the player and adjust it to your liking. You might be interested to note that if you reduce (not close) this window, the audio will continue to play until finished or stopped. This way you can do other things on your computer and still hear the audio.

FRAMES
This important feature enables multiple windows in order to display all the elements which make up our educational programs such as slides, transcripts, course book graphics and the RealAudio Player. The size of each frame can be changed to your liking by grabbing the edge of the frame and adjusting to size.

When an image is too large for a frame (depending upon your screen setting) you can move around the image with the arrows embedded in the sides of the frame.
