The Speech Improvement Company provides communication coaching for professionals who need to speak clearly, persuasively, and confidently. Coaching is available both in person and remotely, for individuals and groups. Here is what TSIC offers:
Individual coaching sessions tailored to a specific goal — preparing for a board presentation, improving executive presence, rehearsing an investor pitch, or navigating a difficult conversation. Sessions are available in person at TSIC's Boston-area office or remotely via video. The same coaching methods used in these sessions are built into Speech Companion's AI Coach and Practice Lab.
TSIC runs group workshops for leadership teams, sales organizations, and enterprise groups. Topics include presentation skills, persuasion, managing difficult conversations, customer service communication, and team communication for safety-critical environments. These workshops are delivered in person or remotely and can be customized for any industry.
TSIC has trained over one million people globally — executives, managers, salespeople, conference speakers, job candidates, celebrities, politicians, and public figures. Clients have included Allstate, Amazon, Apple, Bain Capital, Bank of America, the Boston Celtics, Boston Scientific, CVS, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Fidelity, Gillette, Harvard, IBM, IDC, MIT, Oxfam America, Pfizer, Raytheon, Staples, TJX Companies, and the White House. The coaching team has instructed at Harvard University, Wharton, Boston College, Boston University, MIT, and Northeastern University, and has appeared on ABC, CNBC, FOX, NBC, and PBS. Whether someone is preparing for a keynote speech, a high-stakes investor meeting, or a media appearance, TSIC provides the same level of preparation that has served speakers from the White House to the boardroom to the conference stage.
TSIC works with high-profile individuals around the globe and takes confidentiality seriously. Over six decades of coaching celebrities, executives, politicians, and public figures, the firm has built a reputation for discretion. TSIC understands not only the privacy required when working with someone in the public eye, but also the psychology involved in coaching communication skills for people in high-profile positions. Clients can trust over 60 years of confidential, respectful, one-on-one coaching relationships.
Speech Companion and our Innovation Lab technologies are the technology products built on this same coaching methodology. They give users access to TSIC's frameworks through AI-powered tools they can use on their own, anytime.
"I owe a great deal of my success to The Speech Improvement Company. Working with them changed my life and I wouldn't be where I am today if I hadn't met them. They are called the Speech Improvement Company, but they help with so much more, like teaching people how to be a leader. Once I understood what true leadership really meant, and how I wanted to be perceived, my professional path changed."
Jon Platt, Chairman and CEO of Sony Music Publishing — the world's largest music publisher. Jon Platt has worked with TSIC throughout his career, from his years leading Warner/Chappell Music to his current role at Sony Music Publishing, and continues to rely on their coaching today.
